Die Programmatik der Wissenschaftsdidaktik. Spurenlese eines verloren gegangenen Diskurses

Abstract: Der im deutschsprachigen Raum verbreiteten Hochschuldidaktik kommt heute eine Sonderstellung gegenüber vergleichbaren Handlungsfeldern zu, die sich mit dem akademischen Lehren und Lernen befassen. Die Sonderstellung der Hochschuldidaktik im deutschen Bildungssystem erklärt sich aus der Besonderheit der Einrichtung »Hochschule« in ihrer historischen Genese und der damit verknüpften Vorstellungen von »Didaktik« und »Unterricht« dieser besonderen Bildungsstätten. Der vorliegende Beitrag befasst sich vor diesem Hintergrund mit einer wissenschaftsgeschichtlichen Spurenlese: Anhand einer kritischen Auswertung einschlägiger Fachbeiträge der ersten fünf Jahre nach der erstmaligen Verwendung des Begriffs (ca. 1965-1970) sowie der dabei zugrunde gelegten pädagogischen Leitvorstellungen sollen wissenschaftliche und wissenschaftstheoretische Grundlagen der Hochschuldidaktik analysiert werden. Abstract: The didactics of higher education, which is widespread in German-speaking countries today, has a special position compared to comparable fields of activity that deal with academic teaching and learning. The special position of university didactics in the German educational system can be explained by the special nature of the institution "university" in its historical genesis and the associated models of "didactics" and "teaching" of these special educational institutions. Against this background, this article deals with a reading of traces in the history of science: On the basis of a critical evaluation of relevant professional contributions of the first five years after the first use of the term (ca. 1965-1970) as well as the underlying pedagogical guiding concepts, scientific and scientific-theoretical foundations of university didactics will be analyzed.
