Analytical report on legislation: RAXEN national focal point Germany

Abstract: "The aim of this analytical study on legislation is to provide an overview of legal regulations concerning integration, migration and in particular anti-discrimination. Apart from laws and government decrees, it is also vital in this context to analyse the implementation and actual effects of these legal regulations. This report comprises the following three main parts: First, we will provide some background information on different groups of migrants and give a short summary of current legislation as well as immigration and integration policy. The second part focuses on anti-discrimination legislation in Germany. The third part analyses the question of how (and if) legal regulations have been implemented and what their actual impact on discrimination is." [Author's abstract]
