Balamán

Musikinstrument

Es handelt sich um ein Holzblasinstrument mit einem Doppelrohrblatt aus hellem Holz. Bekannt als Balamán erklingt es in Aserbaidschan, aber auch im Norden Irans oder Nordosten Iraks. Der Balamán ist vornehmlich ein Ensembleinstrument: Dabei bläst der Meister (usta) die Melodie und der Lehrling (dankesh), den Bordun.
