Die Originaltexte liegen vollständig vor, dazu zahlreiche handschriftliche Notizen. Ein umfangreicher Briefwechsel ist vorhanden. Ergänzende Unterlagen und Fotos im Unitätsarchiv der Herrnhuter Brüdergemeinde, erfasst vom Institut für Afrikanistik der Universität Leipzig. Je eine Transkription in Hornbostel 1920, 1928, Schneider 1938c; zahlreiche weitere Stücke in Schneider 1934a. Walze 18 und 25 wurden als Nr. 116 und 117 in die Demonstrationssammlung Erich Moritz von Hornbostels und des Berliner Phonogramm-Archivs übernommen. Walze 18 wurde veröffentlicht auf folgender LP: The Demonstration Collection of E.M. von Hornbostel and the Berlin Phonogramm-Archiv / Die Demonstrationssammlung von E.M. von Hornbostel und dem Berliner Phonogramm-Archiv. Indiana University, Ethnomusicological Series. Georg List, Editor. Ethnic Folkways Library, New York 1963.
