Der Orakeloperateur Ingi wird von Yamba gebeten, das Orakel bezgl. der Gesundheit seiner Frau Kpatagala zu befragen. Im Busch unterzieht Ingi als Puta Benge zwei Küken einem Giftorakel, in dem er den Kücken eine Giftlösung, das Benge (Strychnos icaja) einflößt. Das erste Küken überlebt, das zweite stirbt. Damit steht fest, daß die kranke Frau von Yamba nicht sterben wird.
The diviner Ingi is asked by Yamba to question the oracle about the health of his wife Kpatagala. Ingi conducts the poison oracle applying the poisonous Benge (Strychnos icaja) on two chicken. The first chicken survives, the second dies. Now it's obvious that Yambas wife will not die.
