Auf dem Oberarm und der Schulter junger Mädchen und eines jungen Mannes werden in parallelen Reihen punktförmige Narben angebracht. Mit einem Dorn wird die Haut angehoben und mit einem spachtelförmigen Messer sichelförmig eingeschnitten. Ferner werden mit einem Glassplitter strichförmige Narben auf dem Bauch einer erstmalig Schwangeren erzeugt. Die Wunden werden mit Speichel und Sesamöl abgerieben.
