Li-medod et ha-tehom : sipuro shel Yitsḥaḳ Tsuḳerman (Anṭeḳ)

A biography of Zuckerman, who was born in Vilna in 1915, became a leader in the Hehalutz Zionist youth movement in 1934, and was sent to Hehalutz headquarters in Warsaw in 1936. He fled eastward with the outbreak of war, but returned to Warsaw in April 1940 and met his future wife, Zivia Lubetkin. They were interned in the ghetto, where Zuckerman was one of the organizers of the Hehalutz-Dror youth movement. In 1942 he participated in the establishment of the Jewish Fighting Organization. He was one of the commanders in the rebellion of January 1943, and in early April was sent to the "Aryan side" to obtain help from the Polish resistance. He was also a commander in the Polish uprising of August 1944, after which he went into hiding until the liberation. He emigrated to Eretz Israel in April 1947, and was one of the founders of Kibbutz Lohamei Haghetaot. (From the Bibliography of the Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism)
