The editorial offerings of the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek can be found in the DDBjournal. An overview of the content available – articles, exhibitions, etc. – can be seen on the homepage of the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek (https://www.deutsche-digitale-bibliothek.de).

To find the holdings and collections or a certain cultural and knowledge institution, you can use the search field and enter the name of the institution. Directly above the search field, you should click on “organisations”, so that you are only shown organisations in your search. In the subsequent results list, you can then click on the institution you are looking for.

Discover is a function where you are shown search requests by topic and can directly get a results list by clicking on one of the topics. The discover entry points are created editorially to refer to the most different topics in the DDB. So you can listen to animal sounds or historic shellac records, discover the world of botany or travel the world digitally: from Bolivia to the North Pole, from Venice to the ports of this world.

Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek (DDB) interlinks the digital offerings of cultural and scientific institutions in Germany and of German cultural and scientific institutions abroad. Through a common portal, it makes knowledge accessible. It thus makes a significant contribution to the intermeshing of knowledge between disciplines and between users and the cultural and scientific institutions.
