Masakin (Ostafrika, Kordofan) - Formen einer Flöte aus Ton

Ein Junge formt aus dem mit Wasser versetzten, tonigen Material eines Termitenhügels in Spiralwulsttechnik eine kleine Kugelflöte. Der obere Rand wird ein wenig nach innen eingedrückt, so daß die Öffnung kleiner wird. Mit einem starken Halm bohrt er 2 cm unterhalb der Öffnung zwei kleine Löcher in den Tonkörper im Abstand von etwa 2 cm zueinander und probiert sein Instrument aus.
