Die letzte Töpferin des Mahlabatini-Distriktes töpfert in Spiralwulsttechnik ein Vorratsgefäß: Rollen von 30-40 cm langen Tonwülsten, Formen einer kleinen Schale, Anlegen weiterer Wülste bis zur fertigen Höhe, Glätten des Gefäßes, Nachschneiden der ca. 15 cm großen Öffnung, Einritzen einer zickzackförmigen Girlande und Brennen des Gefäßes in einer Brenngrube.
The last female potter of Mahlabatini-district coils a storage jar: rolling of coils (one foot), forming of a little bowl, adding of coils to the desired height, smoothening of the pot, cutting clean the opening, carving of a zig-zag decoration and pitfiring.
