In Amadahuna stellt ein junger Mann aus zwei ineinandergeschobenen Röhren ein etwa 3 m langes Blasrohr her. Als Außenrohr dient ein ausgehöhltes und -geraspeltes Stämmchen einer Palme (Socrates exorrhiza), als Innenrohr ein Stengel eines knotenfreien Schilfs (Arundinaria schomburgkii). Ein Mundstück wird geschnitzt und angepicht, Pfeilspitzen mit Curare präpariert und am Pfeilende mit einer Kapokflaummanschette versehen. Kurze Jagdszene mit Blasrohr.
The film presents the making of a blowgun typical of the Indians of Guiana of two tubes fitted into each other, blowgun of which the Makiritare have a certain monopoly. The film then shows the poisoning of the blowgun darts with curare got in barter with the Piaroa Indians, and finally the blowgun being used.
