The Octopus moves by crawling with the aid aid of its tentacles and by swimming through the principle of reverse thrust. Its colour adapts to that the sea bottom. It builds protective embankments in its cave. It uses its tentacles to seize shrimps, etc. and convey them to its mouth. When mating the partners embrace each other with their tentacles.
