Eine Frau vermischt Tonerde mit Wasser und knetet den nassen Ton zum Batzen. Auf der Arbeitsbank gibt sie ihm zunächst eine rudimentäre Form, aus der nach dem Trocknen mit einem Schlegel und einem Stein als Widerlager die endgültige Form herausgearbeitet wird. Nach drei Tagen werden die engobierten Töpfe im offenen Feuer gebrannt.
A woman mixes clay with water and kneads the wet clay to a clump. On a work bench, she initially gives it a rudimentary form, from which the final shape is worked out with a mallet and a stone as a dolly after the piece has dried. After three days the glazed pots are burned in an open fire.
