Zerspanungsprozeß beim Drehen von Sonderstahl mit hartmetallbestückten Werkzeugen im Langdreh- und im Orthogonalschnitt. Wegen der schlechten Verformbarkeit des Werkstoffes entsteht ein Wirrspan mit grober Lamellenstruktur. Übersichtsaufnahme (zeitgleich) und Lupenaufnahmen (Zeitdehnung).
The film shows the machining process during the turning of special steel X 10 CrNiTi 18 9 with carbide tipped tools. The work sample was machined longitudinally and vertically under normal v 60 conditions, and the process was filmed both at normal speed and under magnification with suitable slow-down. The bad workability of this material leads to tangled cuttings with relatively coarse lamination.
