Zerspanungsprozeß beim Drehen von Vergütungsstahl mit hartmetallbestückten Werkzeugen im Langdreh- und im Orthogonalschnitt. Der entstehende Fließspan läuft aufgrund gleichmäßiger, feiner Lamellenstruktur als Wendel ab. Übersichtsaufnahme (zeitgleich) und Lupenaufnahmen (Zeitdehnung).
The film shows the machining process during turning of heat-treatable steel 30 CrNiMo 8 with carbide tipped tools. The work sample was machined longitudinally and vertically under normal v 60 conditions, and the process was filmed both at normal speed and under magnification with suitable slow-down. The machining of this refined steel results in typical continuous cuttings with uniform, fine lamination, running off in the form of coils.
