By means of a question-and-answer procedure the medicine-man and his assistant find coins previously hidden in the clothing of the patient, thus demonstrating their extraordinary capabilities and establishing a doctor-patient relationship full of confidence. The dance which follows serves the same purpose. The diagnosis is carried out by means of a clairvoyant question-and-answer procedure, dancing, and oracles. Finally the treatment of a case in shown, with stroking of the patient's body and shadow, wetting with an oily liquid, and scratching of the skin.
