Rom, 81. Ponte Mammolo

Kupferstich

Das Blatt zeigt die spätantike, heute nicht mehr existierende Ponte Mammolo, nach der das 29. Stadtviertel Roms benannt wurde. Es handelte sich um eine Steinbogenbrücke innerhalb der Via Tiburtina, die über den Fluss Aniene führte. 1849 wurde sie durch eine neue Brücke ersetzt.

Quelle: Teil von: Raccolta delle piu belle vedute antiche, e moderne di Roma disegnate ed incise secondo lo stato presente dal Cavalier Giuseppe Vasi. Volume primo. In Roma MDCCLXXXVI. Si trova dall' Autore nel Palazzo Farnesse, al prezzo di cinque zecchini.
