Am Abend des Luzientages (13. Dez.) werden die von Schulkindern gebauten hölzernen Luzienhäuschen in der Stadtpfarrkirche geweiht und anschließend in die Amper gesetzt. Die mit Kerzen ausgeleuchteten Häuschen treiben flußab.
In the evening of St. Lucy's day (13th Dec.) so-called "Luzienhäuschen", small wooden houses constructed by pupils, are blessed in the town church and then placed on the Amper. Lit by candles, the houses float down the river.
