Vorderseite: ROMAn' COnSt - Et XPIStOFO b' R'. Romanus Constantinus et Christoforus (Christophorus) Basileis Romaion - Romanus I. steht mit Krone und Stola (loros) sowie Zepter in der r. Hand und Beutel (akakia) in der l. zwischen den drapierten Halbfiguren von Constantinus VII. (l.) und Christophorus (r.), beide mit Krone.
Rückseite: + IhS XPS REX - REGNANTIUM - Der bärtige Christus auf einem Thron sitzend mit Nimbus im Segensgestus mit Bibel in der l. Hand in der Vorderansicht. Die seitlichen Thronlehnen sind gekrümmt.
Münzstand: Kaisertum (MA/NZ)
Erläuterung: Zur Datierung um das Jahr 930 s. DOC III-2 534 (class VIII). - Romanus I. war Mitherrscher von 920 bis 944, sein Sohn Christophorus von 921 bis 931. Constantinos VII. regierte vom 6. Juni 913 bis zum 9. November 959.
