Only edition of Eck's rebuke of the city of Konstanz and its embrace of the Lutheran movement. Eck specifically attacks Ambrosius Blarer, who had left the Benedictine monastery Alpirsbach in 1522 and had returned as a preacher to the city of his birth at the urging of his brother Thomas, who was mayor of Konstanz, and of the city council.
