Ein weiblicher Habicht jagt aus der Deckung heraus mit und ohne Erfolg auf Krähen, Fasanen und Wildkaninchen. Krähen versuchen nach oben auszuweichen und werden von unten ergriffen. Fasanen versuchen laufend und fliegend die Deckung zu erreichen und werden von oben hinten geschlagen. Kaninchen entweichen hakenschlagend und können nur gehalten werden, wenn beide Fänge zugepackt haben. Mit Zeitdehnung.
A female goshawk hunts crows, pheasants, and wild rabbits from cover, successfully and unsuccessfully. Crows attempt to dodge upwards and are gripped from below. Pheasants attempt to reach cover by running and by flying and are struck from the back and above. Rabbits escape by doubling and can only be held when both talons have gripped. With slow motion photography.
