The film demonstrates the Whale-Headed Stork's methods of gaining prey in the swamp areas of Uganda as well as the killing and gobbling the catched fishes. The shots were taken 1977 in the papyrus swamps of Lake George and the northeastern fens of Lake Kyoga.
