Der Pariser Verleger und Musikdrucker Attaingnant (um 1494-1551/52) stellte seit 1528 qualitätvolle Notenausgaben im einfachen Typendruck mit der Kombination von Liniensystem und Noten in einem einzigen Druckvorgang her. Innerhalb seines umfangreichen Programms mit geistlichen und weltlichen Werken veröffentlichte er u.a. eine 36 Bücher umfassende Chanson-Sammlung, eine der reichsten Quellen an Chansons von Komponisten wie Clement Janequin, Pierre Certon und Clemens non Papa. Der Druck erfolgte in 2 Büchern, die jeweils die Stimmen Superius und Tenor bzw. Contratenor und Bassus enthalten. Englische Version: The Parisian publisher and printer of sheet music, Attaingnant (around 1494-1551/52), produced high-quality musical scores since 1528 in a simple type printing process consisting of a combination of staves and notes in a single printing process. Within his extensive programme of sacred and secular works, he published a collection of 36 books of chansons, one of the richest sources of chansons by composers such as Clement Janequin, Pierre Certon and Clemens non Papa. The printing was done in 2 books, each of which contained the voices Superius and Tenor as well as Countertenor and Bassus.
