Cameraria ohridella (Gracillariidae), die Rosskastanienminiermotte, verursacht weitreichende Schäden an Rosskastanien. Die Biologie dieses Schädlings und die Wirts-Parasit-Beziehung wurden im Rahmen des HAMburger-CAMeraria-Projektes (www.cameraria.galk.de) untersucht und filmisch dokumentiert. Ausführlich werden dargestellt: die einzelnen Entwicklungsstadien der Rosskastanienminiermotte (Ei, fressende Larvenstadien, Einspinnlarve, Puppe und adulte Tiere); Schadbilder an Blättern durch den Larvenfraß; Bestimmung der Befallsdichte, Populationsdynamik und Bekämpfung des Falters. Der Film enthält zahlreiche rasterelektronenmikroskopische Aufnahmen zur Morphologie der Stadien von Cameraria ohridella sowie Lupenaufnahmen.
Cameraria ohridella (Gracillariidae), the horse chestnut leaf miner, causes severe damage to horse chestnut trees. Its biology and the host-parasite-relationship have been investigated in the HAMburg-CAMeraria-Project (www.cameraria.galk.de), the results are presented in this video. The following topics are described in detail: the single developmental stages of the horse chestnut leafminer (egg, larval stages, spin larva spinning a "cocoon", pupa and imagines); damage to chestnut trees by larvae feeding on chestnut leaves; determination of the population density, population dynamics and the control of the moth. The video contains several REM shots which reveal morphological details of the developmental stages of Cameraria ohridella as well as microscopic shots.
