The film shows the fiddler crab Uca annulipes albimana (Kossmann) in natural surroundings on mud banks in the estuary of the Mtwapa-Creek near Mombasa (Kenya) during various activities: feeding by males and females, fighting and waving movements by the males, digging a deep hole for moulting by a male.
