Oviposition and Embryonic Development in the Comb Jelly Pleurobrachia pileus (Ctenophora)
The transparent body of the comb jelly allows for observation of the gonads beneath the comb rows. Eggs at various stages of maturity, laying eggs via the mouth, complete embryonic development with organogenesis, fully developed comb jellies leaving eggs.
