Russian Response to the Increasing Demand for Mobility

Moscow is one of the top-listed global cosmopolitan capitals with a growing economy and a population of 13 million within the city and 17 million in the suburb areas. The growing requirements for effective transportation solutions in the digital era create a new demand for personified user-friendly services. The present article gives an overview of the history of mobility in Moscow, the existing concepts, and the challenges of a highly diverse customer base in the biggest city of Russia. The article also includes various scenarios for mobility in Moscow and possible best practices for other cities.
