Characterization of Ball-milled Poly (Nisopropylacrylamide) Nanogels

Abstract: Poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) hydrogels are one of the most commonly studied thermoresponsive biomaterials. In this work, we investigate ball milling as a method of producing PNIPAM nanogels and confirm that the temperature responsiveness is maintained in the nanogel form based on hydrodynamic diameter and zeta potential measurements.
