Zwei Männer spielen mit jeweils zwei Bambusstöckchen auf dem Aufschlagidiophon ketuk, einem dicken Bambusrohr, das an einem Ende in der Verlängerung der Trommel mit zwei Stäbchen, die einander gegenüberliegen, und einem in Längsrichtung verlaufenden Schlitz versehen ist. Die Schlitztrommel wird auf den Reisfeldern zum Vertreiben der Vögel und zur Selbstunterhaltung gespielt.
Two men strike each with two bamboo sticks the idiophone ketuk, a thick bamboo cane with a longitudinal slit and two small sticks fastened at one end opposite to each other in prolongation of the drum. The slit drum is played in the rice-fields to keep birds away and for entertainment.
