Growing entropy as an alternative to dark energy

Abstract: In the last decades, the cosmological redshift of the SNIa radiation has been analysed intensively; In the currently preferred ΛCDM – model of cosmology based on the RW – metric, dark energy as a repulsive component has to be introduced in order to interprete the experimental results. Thereby, the time is assumed to flow at a constant rate. Here, we use an alternative metric with variable time scales thus differing from the RW – metric. Herewith, we establish the appropriate Einstein field equations for weak fields. It turns out, that the radial equation can be interpreted as flux equation of entropy; hereby, entropy is connected to the length of the time interval which is disponible for one unit of information which is transmitted. The growth of entropy, described by the flux equation, is proposed to drive the expansion of the universe. Thus, it seems possible to interprete the enhanced cosmological redshift without referring to dark energy
