Autonomia de aprendizes on-line de inglês
The present study addresses how the new technologies of information and communication can promote the autonomy of learners of English. In this perspective, the role played by students and teachers carries a new meaning. Expressions like "collaborative learning" and "construction of knowledge" are employed in order to raise the reader’s awareness of the importance of online resources which favour the dialogue. Thus, students become agents in the construction of knowledge. The study finishes with the focus on the formation of the social being and the empowerment of their multiple intelligences made possible by the digital environment.
