Lippfisch. Variierte labriforme Schwimmweise; Brustflossen schlagen synchron, undulierender Bewegungsablauf. Als Schutzreaktion graben sich die Fische schlängelnd im Sand ein oder nehmen eine schlaffe Schwimmhaltung (hinterer Rumpfabschnitt schwankt um die Längsachse) ein, die Ähnlichkeit mit flutenden Algenbüscheln bewirkt.
Wrasse. Labriform swimming in variations, pectoral fins beating synchronously, undulating movement. For protection the animals entrench themselves in the sand or keep a slack swimming mode (rear part of the body wavers on the longitudinal axis), immitating the movement of floating algae clumps.
