Abstract: This article presents a brief systematization of organizational experience in Medellin that aims to strengthen in the medium, the idea of a public university, a concept that goes beyond a mere institution of statehood, but delves into the idea of being a historical-social construction product of the struggles of workers, students and teachers who have planned and longed for decades. Therefore, the organization has always been focused on considering the public university as an arena of struggle against the neoliberal project that emerged as a new phase of capitalism
