The world congress is celebrated every year. The holdings of the London office of the Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (Liga), previously held in the Royal Homoeopathic Hospital, were transfered to the archives of the Institute for the History of Medicine of the Robert Bosch Foundation (IGM) in Stuttgart in February 1999. According to an agreement signed in November 1998, the IGM provided the necessary resources - from trained personnel to storage space - for the sorting and compiling of the holdings, and the Liga was responsible for the largest part of the financing. This inventory shows the many faces of the Liga-holdings, now awaiting researchers to do the next step. The fund has an open end. This means that further material from the Liga is expected in due course, which then will be integrated into the existing collection.
There were 18 moving-boxes which turned into 15 running metres of archival material and 2 running metres of books and journals. The main part of the archival holdings are from the current operations between 1969 and 1997. But, there are also some very precious historical pieces like the statement „The Necessity for a Permanent Centre for the I.H.C. office and library“ from 1924, account reports from the 1930s, the Statutes from 1934, a German member list from 1938, or even the duplicate of the 1912 „Annual Report of the work done by the International Homoeopathic Council“. Of course, the organizational structure of the material naturally reflects the administrative practice of the Liga on a whole. Therefore, the filing-order of the Liga was thoroughly respected, although a few classificational changes for example in respect to areas of activity were made.
Similarly, the breakdown of the Liga-holdings was systematized for easier public usage. First, there is the Archival Material (A), which was enriched with parts of the personal estate of Max Tiedemann, former treasurer of the Liga and vice-president for Germany and of Ulrich Fischer, vice-president for Germany. Then there are the Collectables (B) and the Pictorial Material (C). The objects were physically integrated into the objects‘ collection of the IGM, and can now be seen at the permanent exhibition; the slides were physically integrated into the photographic archives of the IGM. The integration of the material into the different collections of the IGM allows for a better access to the LMHI-material, non-withstanding the fact that all of the material might return to the Liga under the agreed conditions. In the homoeopathic library of the IGM one can now find the next section, Books and Journals (D). The inventory closes with two Appendices (E); the original filing-order of the Liga and the latest version of the Statutes from 1993. It should be noted that there are also other holdings in the archives of the IGM that are of importance in researching on the Liga. Most notably there are the holdings of the „Groupement Hahnemannien de Lyon“ (in NSCHM) running from ca. 1922 to 1977 and including correspondence with Jost Künzli.
The inventory was compiled by Erik O. Ründal, M.A., except for the list of „Books and Journals“ which was the work of Dipl.-Bibl. Helena Korneck, the librarian of the IGM. The coordination of the whole project remains in the hands of Priv.-Doz. Dr. Martin Dinges. Further Material (1998-2012) was described by Sandra Dölker in 2013. Some documents are stored in the documentation of the institute.

Further material was delivered by Dr. U. Fischer (Germany) in 2020 and was added to the fond by Dr. Marion Baschin and Sandra Dölker in 2021.
