Im Rahmen einer Mädcheninitiation, bei der diese die Schambedeckung der Frauen (Sapalakú) erhalten, finden Ringkämpfe unter den Frauen statt, eine symbolische Nachahmung des Männerringens.
In the course of a girls' initiation, at which the pubic apron of women, sapalakú (uluri), is put on to the girls, wrestling by women takes place as a symbolic imitation of men's wrestling.
