Las identidades colectivas frente a los retos de la mundialización capitalista: dos casos de estudio en México

Los procesos de mundializaci6n capitalista conllevan grandes amenazas para gran parte de los pueblos y para muchos sectores de población de distintas sociedades, así como para las expresiones identitarias con que se hubieren dotado. Pero semejantes procesos abren también la posibilidad de nuevas formas, más reflexivas, de construir la propia identidad y de conformarse como sujetos, para los individuos y las distintas formas de colectividad social y cultural. Se intenta ilustrar mediante el seguimiento de dos casos de politización étnico-cultural en México.
The processes of the capitalkm globalization carnes along major threatsto many communities and to many population sectors of difíerent societies, as well asto the expression of identity previously acquired by them. However, these processes give way to opportunities for new and more flexible forms to construct one's own identity and to conform them selves assubjects, for the individual and the disünct forms of social and cultural collectiviness. Acording to an attempt carried out it has been portrayed in this manner in two follow-up study cases of ethno-cultural politicization in México.
