Am Dorfrand von Ladio tanzen Mitglieder der Maskentanzgesellschaft zur Trommel- und Spitzflötenbegleitung. Sie sind in rote Fibergewänder gehüllt, ihre hölzernen, bemalten Aufsatzmasken stellen Tiere dar: Antilope, Pferd, Affe, Hornschnabelvogel. Die Tänzer ahmen die Bewegungen der Tiere nach. Es tritt auch eine lange Brettermaske auf.
Members of the mask dance society perform to the musical accompaniment of drums and wooden flutes. The dancers are covered in red garments and their painted headdresses represent various animals whose movements the performers strive to imitate. A long board with symbolic figures on it has a moralistic meaning.
