Este ensayo presenta una breve guía para leer y comprender a Celso Furtado. Existe un increíble desconocimiento sobre sus ideas, sus textos claves y actividades a lo largo de cinco décadas. Se resaltan aquellos momentos y libros de mayor trascendencia que podrían facilitar los estudios, con diversos matices, y respuestas a problemas del desarrollo latinoamericano.
There is a lack of knowledge about Celso Furtado's ideas, main works and the rest of his intellectual activities he conducted for over five decades. This article attempts to sketch a guide for understanding Furtado's ideas, expressed on his books and at certain periods of his intellectual career, that still provide relevant insights for the study of Latin American development problems.
