Deutsch Malerisch auf einem Berghang über dem Neckar gelegen Landstadt. Reste der Stadtbefestigung in Form der Stadtmauer als Basis für aufgebaute Häuser erhalten. Krönend in der Oberstadt die Stadtkirche mit ehemaligem Kirchhof an höchster Stelle. Ihr Kirchturm ist heute noch ein Blickfang und diente früher lange Zeit als Auslug gegen Feinde von außerhalb wie aber auch gegen Feuer in der Stadt Sehenswertes Stadtbild mit Baubestand in Manier der Renaissance und des Barock. English Lovely sited on a hill side at the Neckar river shore, the town is crowned by its church at the highest point. Once, the cemetery-courtyard was fortified, while the church tower was always a lookout against enemies and fire both. Today, new houses have overgrown the former town walls, but the structure is still visible and gave a good improvement of a medieval landsmen’s town. Within the town, the houses are from the architectural periods of the Renaissance to the Baroque both, mostly gable sited to the main road and equipped with curbed roofs. The nave of the church shows good late Gothic style.
