Arbeiten in einer Gießerei in Pegug: Aufbereitung des Formsandes; Fertigstellen von drei Formen für Kochkessel, Topf und Pflugschar auf einer drehbaren Formscheibe; Anfeuern und Beschicken eines kleineren Schachtofens mit Schlauchgebläse mit Holzkohle, Roheisen, Gußbruch und Kalkstein; Abstich, Ausgießen und Zerschlagen der Formen; Reinigung der fertigen Gußteile.
The film demonstrates molding on a rotating molding disk, from the dressing of the molding sand down to the completion of three molds for copper, pots and plow share. Subsequently follows the firing and charging of a small furnace, a pit-furnace operated with a tube blast, with charcoal, pig iron, castings and limestone, as well as the tapping and filling of the molds. The molds are then smashed and the finished castwork is cleaned.
