Positive periodic solutions for discrete time-delay hematopoiesis model with impulses

Abstract: The present article is devoted to the positive periodic solution for impulsive discrete hematopoiesis model. This model is described by a first-order nonlinear difference equation with multiple delays and impulses. The existence result is obtained by applying the Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorem. A sufficient condition that guarantees that there is at least one positive periodic solution is established. Moreover, illustrative example and numerical simulation analysis are provided to show the existence of positive periodic solutions and the effect of impulses on positive periodic solutions.
