El debate sobre las encuestas electorales en México en 2012

Abstract: Mexico’s federal elections in 2012, and in particular the presidential, resulted in an intense, but dispersed, debate over the role of polls in electoral processes and their regulation. Therefore retrieve the regulatory framework and the narrative of the published polls do not act only as a function of archeology in Foucault’s sense, but it opens the possibility of a revision to the criticism expressed, in order to establish scope and limitations of these exercises. This essay will attempt to see if there is evidence of systematic biases, whether this phenomenon is unusual, if feasible avoid it simple and can be considered as the product of an intention of the researchers
