Cichlidae. Normales Fortpflanzungs- und Kampfverhalten. Kastration. Kastrationsbedingte Ausfallserscheinungen in Färbung und männlichem Sexualverhalten. Nach Injektion von Testosteron tritt die typische Färbung wieder auf, das Normalverhalten kehrt zurück. Weibchen nehmen nach Injektion von Testosteron typisch männliches Verhalten an.
Cichlidae. Normal reproductive and fighting behaviour. Castration. Deficiencies in colouration and male sexual behaviour caused by castration. Following injection of testosterone, the typical colouration reappears and the normal behaviour returns. Females show typical male behaviour after being injected with testosterone.
