Die europäische Migrations- und Entwicklungspolitik - eine Chance für den Süden?
Abstract: "Seit den dramatischen Ereignissen vor den spanischen Exklaven in Nordafrika steht der Zusammenhang zwischen Migration und Entwicklung hoch auf der politischen Agenda. In der EU hat die Diskussion über neue Ansätze in der Migrationspolitik Auftrieb bekommen. Folgende Fragen stehen im Vordergrund: Welches sind die Ursachen von Migration, welche Bevölkerungsgruppen sind betroffen, welche gruppenspezifischen Lösungen müssen gefunden werden? Wie kann die Beachtung der Menschenrechte gesichert werden? Welchen entwicklungspolitischen Zielsetzungen und Standards muss eine gemeinsame Europäische Migrationspolitik entsprechen?"
