Science and business park grows efficiently. New energy concept to reduce park’s primary energy consumption by 30 per cent by 2020.

If the current trend is extrapolated, the energy requirement of the Berlin-Adlershof science and business park will double by 2020 as a result of relocations and an increase in density. The implementation of a new energy concept is to help the site achieve 30 % savings in primary energy. Central to the concept is the energy-efficient improvement and cross-linking of buildings, systems and processes, the use of waste heat, efficient electricity and heat supply and the introduction of a technical and non-technical energy management system.
