Free‐Standing Ultrathin Films of 2D Perovskite for Light‐Emitting Devices Operating at Strong Coupling Regime
Abstract: A novel and cost‐effective method for producing free‐standing polyimide films that support a layer of 2D polycrystalline perovskite is presented. This flexible structure can be easily transferred to different substrates of various sizes and roughness, as demonstrated by depositing it on a small dielectric mirror. The experiments confirm that the presence of polyimide thin film does not affect the optical properties of the 2D perovskite, maintaining its integrity under both ambient and cryogenic conditions. Furthermore, the flexible 2D perovskite within an optical microcavity, achieving strong light‐matter coupling at room temperature is successfully embedded. The findings not only extend the frontiers of flexible optoelectronics but also emphasize its importance in improving high‐performance light‐emitting devices.
