Bildnis des George Grenville (1712-1770), Pemierminister. Der Porträtierte sitzt in einem Innenraum auf einem Stuhl/Sessel. Er trägt eine Perücke, ein Jabot und Spitze an den Ärmeln sowie Weste und Gehrock mit Knöpfen. In seiner rechten Hand hält er ein Schriftstück/Papier mit der Aufschrift: "An Act for the Encouragement of Seamen, employed in the Royal Navy, and for establishing a regular method for the punctual frequent & certain payment of their Wages, and for enabling them more easily & readily to remit the fame, for the suppport of their Wives and Families, and for preventing Frans and Abuses attending rich payments." Im Hintergrund des Raumes erhebt sich eine Säule, zur anderen Seite sind Bücher, Schriftstücke/Papier mit Siegel in einem Regal/Schrank, teilweise durch eine Draperie verhängt, zu sehen.
