Der Film behandelt mit stark agitatorischer Tendenz den Arbeitsalltag eines angelernten Arbeiters in einer Fahrzeugfabrik zu Anfang der 70er Jahre. Gezeigt werden Monotonie der Arbeit sowie Schmutz und Lärm am Arbeitsplatz. Wirtschaftliche Unsicherheit der Arbeiter, die Rolle des Betriebsrats und eine geplante Änderung des Betriebsverfassungsgesetzes durch die sozial-liberale Bundesregierung werden thematisiert.
The critical film shows the labor conditions of an unskilled worker in a lorry factory in the early 1970s, stressing the monotony of his filthy and noisy work. Economic risks of the workers, the role of the works council and the planned reform of the Works Constitution Law under the social liberal government are further topics.
