Drei Männer und zwei Frauen zeigen verschiedene Trommelgesänge mit Vorwärtsbeugungen, seitlichen Beugungen und Drehungen. Am Schluß des letzten Gesangs läßt ein Helfer vor dem Trommler den kultischen Stab kreisen.
The film sequences show drum singing an old Eskimo combination of singing, dancing and drumbeating which modern influences have rendered practically extinct. The cast of the film includes Imîna, a renowned trapper from Siorapaluk, the northernmost settlement in the world, the trappers Inûteq and Magssanguaqssuag from Qânâq and their wives Arnaqpalâr and Ivalo.
