The first sequences show healthy, normal thrombocytes which were fixed immediately after withdrawal of blood samples. In the following shots (exposures from light and electron scan microscope) it can be seen how thrombocytes change which are fixed after 10, 20, 60, or 90 minutes. In a further sequence the continuous alteration of shape of the thrombocytes is shown up to 90 minutes after withdrawal and finally the behaviour of these blood cells after the addition of various chemicals.
